History of the Church School
The Sunday Church School has a long and rich history. It was started in 1818, when a group of women petitioned the elders of the church for permission to gather the dear children of the community together and teach them the great truths of the Holy Word. Much has changed since the first meetings were held in Church member’s homes.

We now meet in classrooms in Fellowship Hall and in the Church Annex and we offer classes for students from Pre-Kindergarten (3 years old) through Adult that meet before worship from 9:15 AM until 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings. But some things have not changed. We still teach the Bible and work to bring everyone to a closer and more personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
